Lionell has been through more than any dog should, and his journey to recovery is still ongoing. He is a Ridgeback blend who arrived at Dogtown carrying the weight of a difficult past, and while he is safe now, he is not yet ready for adoption.
Lionell is currently working closely with our behaviour team as he learns to feel secure and rebuild trust. Progress takes time, patience, and consistency, and every step forward is supported by structured care, training, enrichment, and medical attention.
While Lionell waits for the day he may be ready for a home, he needs ongoing support.
