Hi I'm Major

Meet Major.

He is one of our longest residents at Dogtown and it would be a dream come true to find him a home of his own.

Major came to us as a feral dog many years ago, untrusting of people and very fearful. He has been in our special section for nervous dogs, Sarah B and has recently graduated to our retirement village Shady Pines, where he is officially up for adoption to a very special family.

Major has overcome many obstacles to get to where he is now, our team have invested so much into his rehabilitation and he has made major breakthroughs when it comes  to his relationships with humans. He is not as nervous and untrusting as when he first arrived but he still takes his time getting to know new people, but with a bit of patience and a treat or 2, you will be friends in no time.

Major is a senior boy who spends much of his day lounging on his Hound Sleeper just watching the world go by. He has his playful moments and enjoys human company, even if it’s from a distance.

If you can offer this boy a loving, calm environment where he can build up trust and gain confidence please reach out. He so deserves to have a home and family of his own.
