Meet Quill – Your Future Best Friend 🐾

Quill is a gentle, sensitive boy with so much love to give. He may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he forms deep, loyal bonds that make him an incredibly special companion. Since arriving at Dogtown, he has truly blossomed—winning hearts with his sweet nature and adorable “tippy tap” dance whenever a treat is on the way.

Quill got his name after his rescue, when he had an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine—an experience that marked the beginning of his journey to safety and a better life.

He is happiest when he’s close to his person, enjoying cuddles and calming TTouch sessions that help him fully relax. Quill loves his treats and chews, and his quiet excitement is both endearing and heartwarming. He walks beautifully on a lead and enjoys gentle outings, preferring shorter strolls or relaxed walks with breaks, especially in cooler weather. He’s also great with other dogs—calm, friendly, and always happy to enjoy a play date. One of his favorite discoveries has been water, and he now loves wading into the pool to cool off.

Quill’s soulful eyes tell a story of resilience. He was once adopted, but sadly returned to Dogtown through no fault of his own. Despite this, he continues to trust and open his heart, showing just how special he truly is.

He would thrive in a loving home where someone is around most of the time to give him the reassurance he needs. A friendly doggy companion would be a wonderful bonus. Quill has already learned the basics and is eager to keep learning—especially when treats are involved.
