The Barking Lot is an exciting way for you to help Dogtown raise funds to care for the amazing

Dogs and cats of DogtownSA

There will be a monthly cash and dog food prize.

By participating in the Barking Lot, your donation of R20 per ticket

Will not only help us save more lives.

It will put you in line to win up to R10000 for yourself and up to R10000 worth of Montego for your

favourite Barking Mad charity.

You can sign up for a monthly ticket allocation.

Or you can acquire a few tickets when you can.

Terms and Conditions for the Monthly Society Lottery:

1. Eligibility: The monthly society lottery (“Lottery”) is open to individuals who are at least 18

years old at the time of participation. By participating in the Lottery, participants agree to

these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry: To enter the Lottery, participants must donate R20 for a valid ticket within the

designated monthly lottery period. Tickets may be acquired online at dogtownsa.org. Each

ticket will have a unique identification number.

3. Donation Cost: The donation value of a single ticket will be R20.

4. Ticket Limit: There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can acquire for each

monthly drawing. There are only 5000 tickets available each month.

5. Drawings: The monthly drawing will take place on the last day of each month, using a

computerized system to randomly select the winning ticket numbers.

6. Winner Notification: The winners will be notified by email, telephone, or any other contact

information provided when acquiring the ticket. It is the responsibility of participants to

ensure their contact information is accurate and up to date. The winners will be announced

on our official website and social media platforms.

7. Prize Distribution: The winners will receive the designated prizes as described in the Lottery

announcement or on our official website. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be

exchanged for cash or any other alternatives, unless otherwise stated.

8. Verification: To claim the prize, winners may be required to provide proof of identification

and any other necessary documentation within a specified timeframe. Failure to provide the

requested information within the designated timeframe may result in disqualification and

selection of an alternate winner.

9. Disqualification: Participants found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or

engaged in fraudulent activities will be disqualified from the Lottery. In such cases, a new

winner may be selected using the same random drawing process.

10. Liability: We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by participating in the

Lottery or accepting any prize. Participants agree to release and hold us harmless from any

claims or liabilities arising from their participation.

11. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between

the participants and us regarding the Lottery, superseding any prior agreements or

understandings.

12. The prize value will be based on 20% of the amount of ticket sales.

13. No DogtownSA executives may participate in the Lottery.

used to support Dogtown SA’s ongoing operations, including rescuing and caring for abandoned,

neglected, and abused dogs. This includes providing shelter, food, veterinary care, and other

essential needs for the rescued dogs.

2. Medical Treatment: Dogtown SA often rescues dogs that require medical attention. By

acquiring a ticket, you contribute to covering the costs of medical treatments, surgeries,

vaccinations, and medications for the rescued dogs. Your support enables Dogtown SA to nurse

these dogs back to health and improve their overall well-being.

3. Rehabilitation and Training: Some dogs rescued by Dogtown SA may have endured

traumatic experiences or have behavioural issues. Your ticket donation helps fund professional

training and rehabilitation programs that aim to rehabilitate and socialise the dogs, making them

more adoptable and increasing their chances of finding forever homes.

4. Adoption Initiatives: Dogtown SA strives to find loving homes for the rescued dogs. The

funds raised from ticket donations can be used to organise adoption drives, marketing campaigns,

and outreach programs to match suitable families with the dogs in need. Your support assists in

facilitating successful adoptions and ensuring a brighter future for these animals.

5. Education and Awareness: Dogtown SA is committed to promoting responsible pet

ownership and raising awareness about animal welfare. Ticket donations can contribute to

educational initiatives, such as workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs that aim

to educate the public on proper dog care, training, and the importance of spaying/neutering pets.

6. Ticket donations will also help to increase our BarkingMad click to feed project. Which

works with and supports over 100 animal rescue groups across South Africa.

7. By acquiring a ticket for the monthly lottery, you become a valuable supporter of Dogtown

SA’s mission to rescue and improve the lives of dogs in need. Your contribution directly assists in
