Hello world, my name is Apache. I don't know the actual meaning of my name but I've been told by many that Apache means "beyond awesome" and who am I to argue. I was surrendered to Dogtown because my brother and I did not see eye to eye. My human dad tried everything in his power to make it work between us but alas, it was not meant to be. If I must be entirely honest, I prefer to be an only dog, I really struggle to connect with any other fur-creatures.

Let me tell you all about me. I am super smart and I love training. I pick up things so quickly and I love to show off with all my skills. I am an active girl and I love going out for walks and runs. My perfect human would be an active person and if I could join them on hikes and morning runs, that would be a dream come true.

I love humans of all shapes and sizes. I am a busy girl though and have lots of energy so I think a home with older kids would be better for me. I love being challenged with brain games so mental stimulation is a big part of my daily routine.
